Tiki Productivity Statistics Report

Oi, I forgot the new cover sheets, somebody should get me the memo.

Ascending was a breeze on this 4th day. I mostly got in my own way trying to be a tough guy by keeping +41 ML going all the time, haha.

I lost my chance at another Silver Shrimp Fork due to that.
I clovered wearing three Lucky Crimbo Tiki Necklaces, and got 2 clovers back in 30 adventures. Which is pretty nice.

My math is probably wrong, but I had no intention of continuing this clovering business, so I boosted my moxie.
With any luck, tomorrow, I'll be battling the Crimborgs, leveling my Sombrero and shooting up in stats like a bottlerocket.

Crimbo Pride

Perhaps a better man than me would've succeeded in this 3-day run. I also blame my lucklessness (such as a "15-turn with 2 drunkeness" stint with the Pirates in disguise) for not making it. I also screwed up, by, for example, clicking the glass of goats milk, instead of the milk of magnesium.

That said, I got very very far. Not up-in-the-tower far. And I didn't get the wand. But still, I got halfway to level 11.

It seems to be a shoe-in tomorrow.
- Get that wand
- Get some foods (3 fettucini inconnu + bat haggis)
- Do the DD for security (likely reduce 1 zap, so that I can't get cowed with a blown wand)
- Finish the quests
- Run the tower.
- Get the tattoo
- Start levelling!

A cinch, I tell you.

Merry Crimbo!

It's Crimbo :-) I've been unpacking my gifts, and they are cool. I got a cute Tiki Lighter and a Ukelele.

Even though I got myself beat up...a lot, I'm making great progress. Considering that tomorrow is another moxie day, I've got the audacious nerve to consider it possible to defeat the Sorceress on the third Hardcore day. This, however, does require a lot of RNG good will, since the sheer number of required adventures may intervene. A 4-dayer, however, seems more than likely.

To set it up, I've done the DD today. For tomorrow, I need to:
- Get rid of that turn of teleportitis.
- Do the tr4pz0r quest and eat my precooked foods (spaghetti, 2 hell ramen and probably bat haggis) with a glass of goat's milk.
- I should try to get the wand in the meantime, aiming to use mining and holidays to get rid of (excess) teleportitis.
- Finish off the Bonerdagon
- Use an itemdropper to get the required scrolls (Shaman!)
- Race through the airship and castle and HitS (Shaman!).
- Don't forget I can get wind-up clocks and Magical Mystery Juice from the stores.

Sadly, I'm going for level 30. If I make a 3-dayer, however, I will reacend softcore, because DAMN...I'm not going to let that one slip. I've already logged two four-dayers, so I'll let that one slide.

Also, I'm thinking that the Scarf hurts me more than that it helps me. 4 stats/turn extra, vs. a couple of beat ups.

Day 1: Tight Maneuvers

Using a bit of shrewdness, I've maneuvered myself in a nice position. Mostly, I'll be amused to see who falls into my PvP trap.

Using soda water, Melody and Madrigal, eating at the Crimboween Spooky Cafe, getting a mosquito larva, selling 4 out of 5 gems, using my comma chameleon to reduce my cost of the arena, I ended up with a decent outfit, a well-pumped familiar, high MP and well-boosted Mysticality and Moxie.

We'll see who falls for it.

For the rest, I've banked my turns for moxie day tomorrow.

Bedroom Victory!

Hurray!

I made it.

Using all tricks and potions and Yuletide carols and every snowcone I had left as efficiently as possible, I made it right through the airship, castle and Hole in the Sky, with a sizeable amount of adventures to spare.

My stats, especially my offstats being not very impressive, I chose to visit the Bedroom, rather than the Gallery. Even though it took half a dozen adventures in the Library, it gave me rather good offstat leveling. Using the Gallery to boost my mainstat and back to the bedroom for the final moxie point, I worked my way up the tower with a sombrero, to get as high boosts as possible.

Up the top, I lacked a single point of muscle, which was easily gained in the bedroom again. I had blown my zapping wand on a spider web, so I went in against the Sorceress without a furry suit. Or many +melee damage.
Outfit: Mohawk wig, goth kid shirt, vampire-duck-on-a-string, teh weapon, penguinskin mini-skirt, club necklace, giant pinky ring, hametyst necklace.

At one point, it got rather close, because I wasn't paying attention to my HP, and the fight was a bit more bitter than I thought (she killed a lot of my Doc Galaktik's), but nonetheless, it was a walkover.

4 days, 717 turns. I had done it.
15 clovers to level up to 12, this time I *did* buy the skill and I was in Ascension land.

What a nice Crimbo present :-)

59 12/24/06 12 Sauceror Platypus 732 4 Ancient Yuletide Troll (94%) Hardcore

Well-laid plans

I did get the DD key, but ignored the rest of my plan entirely.

Which means I've unlocked the Gallery, I've eaten two fettucini inconnu, bat haggis and royal jelly. Kinda forgot I didn't have a stomach of steel, haha. Also forgot about the spicy noodles.

I thought I was real lucky with getting a barbed-wire fence on my first holiday, and hoped to get 3 little paper umbrella's from the Escapay mysticality holiday, but no such luck. I ended up summoning one lousy umbrella. I had waste my spices on bat haggis, so no eggnog either. I ended up drinking a Roll in the Hay, getting 2 drunkeness from the Pirate adventure, a snifter of brandy, redrum, braincracker sweet, eggnogtini and finishing with another braincracker sweet. Two fizzy potions gave me some extra drunkeness, which will be a nice feature for PvP :-)

Adventurewise, I ended up stranded on the Airship. I used my spleen for some hatorade and an extra flower, since I only got nuggets from smashing various high-powered stuff. Antiques are the only way to go, it seems.

The Pirates were so kind to finally furnish me with a shirt, and I smithed a penguin skin mini-skirt for extra speediness.

The only thing holding me back from ascending tomorrow is lack of raw stats. I should get a DD key, finish the airship and farm the HitS with no problem, but getting the offstats seems to be problematic.

The foodplan for tomorrow seems to be Spaghetti with Skullheads, Fettucini Inconnu and a boring spaghetti...Getting my mainstat to 104 is a challenge, but getting my moxie to 67 is another. Once I do that, I can make a chrome crossbow and perhaps gain some stats from battling tower monsters.

I see a 4-dayer as unlikely at this junction, but we'll see how far we get.

Skill Musings

As my game improves, I've found myself again "in need" of certain skills, which previously seemed useless.

For example, while one-hit killing stuff, Jabanero saucesphere seems useless. But now that I get monster level so much pumped and play Myst classes a bit, it seems to get more valuable. Also, with the introduction of the Gallery, the Mojomagical Melody seems far more useful. Also, I'm not quite tough. I think I've got that one skill for softcore, not for hardcore.

Up to 2007, I will finish my current Sauceror run (get Impetuous Sauciness, for real, this time) and probably get the start, but not the finish on an up to level 30 Accordion Thief run.

So, without much further ado, here's my skill wishlist for 2007.

Seal Clubber:
- Hide of the Walrus (Need more absorption!)
...and all other skills
Turtle Tamer
- Coldblooded Fearlessness (Gallery and Cyrpt. The single most useful of all elemental resistances, and it's the one I lack)
Disco Bandit
- Overdeveloped Sense of Self-Preservation (The skill I skipped over so many times, just because it was cheap.)
Accordion Thief
- Sonata (more -monster never hurts)
- Melody (For myst runs and running a purple snowcone at the lower levels)
- Jackass (cheaper and more efficient than Rage and Snarl, which I do have)
Pastamancer
- Transcendental Noodlecraft (CHOW MEIN! It will make the Hippy Camp more attractive, again, which I now skip due to Crimbo)
- Spirit of Rigatoni (or is it Ravioli, the one that makes you tougher)
- Springy Fusilli (I need more initiative)
- Canneloni Cocoon (yay cheap full healing)
Sauceror
- Jabanero Saucesphere (MP restore on damage, good for myst class)
- Scarysauce (potentially useful for the HitS)

Gnomes:
All.

In conclusion:
In 2007, I need to play more with the "spellslingers". Sauceror, Pastamancer, Accordion Thief.

My first ascension into 2007 will be that Accordion Thief, I'll take Sonata, since that's cost-efficient.
Next, I envision starting out the traditional route.
Seal Clubber (Hide of the Walrus)
Turtle Tamer (Cold-blooded Fearlessness)
Disco Bandit (Self-Preservation)
Accordion Thief (Melody)
and then a string of Pastamancer/Sauceror runs. During which I not only get the wanted skills, but also a decent spellslinging set (preferably the Sauceror one)
Pastamancer (Noodlecraft)
Sauceror (Immaculate Seasoning)
Pastamancer (Spirit of Rigatoni)
Sauceror (Intrinsic Spiciness)
Pastamancer (Canneloni Cocoon)
Sauceror (Jabanero Saucesphere)
Pastamancer (Springy Fusilli)
Sauceror (Wave of Sauce)
Or something.

Could be well into March by then.

Misty Cality

With 325 adventures spent, I'm not all that impressed with my progress. Sure, I nearly got to level 9 and completed a lot of stuff that needed to be completed. I'm kinda doubtful it can be done in 4 days. But 5 days seems a surety.

But still. I spent close to 80 adventures stuck with the Deep Fat Friar's. I failed to notice I hadn't gotten miner's pants. Blah, blah, blah, complain.

In the end, I gotta look forward and not mind all the little errors I made, but rather not make them again.

So for tomorrow, there's a few things that need reminding.
1. Daily Dungeon
2. Zapping Wand.
3. Food plan.
- Spaghetti with skullheads (already got the ingredients)
- Fettucine Inconnu (need a chunk of goat cheese)
- spicy noodles (already have the ingredients)
consumed with a glass of goat's milk.
4. Booze plan
- summon 5 cocktail garnishes. Pray for 3 LPU's.
- Ingredients for 3 Roll In The Hay
- Eggnog (need a bottle of rum from the pirates)
- complement with the booze from the Crimborgs
I haven't unlocked the gallery yet, either. Seems like something to after the Baron's Quest. Otherwise I'll just do the quests in order. Let the Gallery be the Gallery and play with the Wheel, instead.

A fresh new start

With a rather easy, I dare even say sedate, tower and sorceress experience, I without too much expense or hassle, continued to level in the Gallery up to 13. I might have optimized in some way and gotten to 14, but I was content as it is.

Instead of picking a useful skill (such as Hide of the Walrus), I selected Northern Exposure. It will save me 10 MP per ascension. Perhaps a tiny bit more for the DD. But there you have its use.

The new run took 27 turns, some of which were superfluous.
10 fights in the Arena
3 dives in the sewer
1 for a mosquito
3 for a stolen accordion
10 in the spooky fright factory (this was mostly superfluous, but helped me get a minor edge for PvP).

After that, I jumped into my time sleigh for some good consumption through the various Crimbo's. Which gave me, besides a sugar rush, a good solid 176 adventures (including +40 for rollover) for tomorrow (stat day!) to play with.

Day 4. Carp.

Well...that was interesting. NOT.

I played rather suboptimally, knowing that tomorrow, I'd have a full day of adventuring.

I easily reached level 11, but lacked a lot of offstats. I do still think I'd have made it, if I didn't fail that one key. (and a bit of RNG luck) Today, for example, I pre-emtpively got a white picket fence and frigid ninja stars. In the end, I was smashing a bit here and there to make wads...and I accidentally smote my chrome sword. Which is of no real consequence...but it is sad.

Just as it is sad that I wasted 40 MP on Snarl of the Timberwolf, instead on Advanced Cocktailcrafting. Damn mouse.

Most of the rest of the day was spent on playing this game called "Emergency 2: The ultiamte fight for life", which is a new installment in the "Emergency" series. I think "Firefighter Tycoon" is also theirs. At least the game looks and feels very similar. The game isn't so much a challenge, as that the interface is a struggle. And it doesn't help when you have a stupid old ball mouse. I also could use a real desk. And a chair for that desk. Right now I've put my monitor on the inside of a closet and sit in a laidback chair, using a normal chair for support for the mouse, with the keyboard on my lap. Not very convenient.

The end of personal stuff.

Oh no wait, I also flooded my bathroom. The drain pipe of the washing machine shot out of the place where it's supposed to go and hence my entire bathroom had about half an inch of water...not fun.

Stumble!

Forgot to visit the Daily Dungeon, which will make a 4-dayer impossible. I'll have to settle for 5 days, unless I'm willing to drop Teetotaller. Which I'm not.

So. Plan for tomorrow: GET A KEY.
Get as many tower items as possible and finish the level 9 quest.

Mad Dash

Stat days are so much fun. After getting to level 3 last time within 25 turns, today I got all the way to level 9.

I did run a bit out of steam in order to get the most out of it. I could have teetdropped (I still could!) to keep going. Then again, I'm looking for a Teetotal run here and tomorrow is another stat day. The Level 7,8 and 9 quests all need to be visited and this will get me quite near ascension, I think. Logistically, considering the need for DD keys, I might just as well stick to a 4-day schedule, and see if I can do it Teetotal style.

However, it does require planning, so after the sign-off, the planning.

The planning:
Day 3:
Farm first, to finish level 8 quest, after that, continue farming for dinner plan (two more goat cheeses for a meal-plan of 1 gnochetti and two fettucini, finished with a manetwich)
After that, get a DD item.
Next up, the Bonerdagon can get a good thwacking.
The question is where I am adventurewise and statwise at this point. I prefer to go to level 10 and go for the beanstalk area over taking on the level 9 quest, which would be a waste, due to the shoring. I can more easily smash and smith above-beanstalk itemry too, while the Gallery would not be so useful.
I'll see where I end up on this quest.

Day 4:
I should have plenty of meat to open up the Dungeons of Doom, and shore off meat with Teleportitis. Get my zapping wand and get another DD key. Using my drop-familiar I can farm some goat cheese for Fettucini (3 of them) and finish the level 9 quest ASAP (possibly using my Drop-familiar). After this I probably will have enough mainstat, but lack mysticality offstat to do the Sorceress quest, so I'll make up for that in the Gallery.

Defeat the Naughty Sorceress.
See if I can level up to 13 (or 14) and buy that skill(!).
Ascend.

Another Run

Spent 25 turns this run, banking for muscle day tomorrow. It's going to be a Teetotal HC Seal Clubber run. My goal is to make it in 5 days.

10 turns were spent getting a lead necklace for my troll. The other 15 were spent in the Spooky Forest, finding larva and in the sewer, sewering for a Rock 'n Roll legend.

Also won 8 out of 10 PvP fights.

Okay, I spent one more turn, getting into my guild. With the resulting goodies, I got to level 3, haha.

Unhappy Ending

I breezed through the Gallery and the Tower, defeated the Sorceress and had enough time left to level up to 12...

And then forgot to get the Impetuous Sauciness skill from the trainer.

Argh.

At least it's a 4-dayer. And NEXT TIME LET'S NOT FORGET TO BUY THE STUPID SKILL. I got Sauce Contemplation instead. (It was either that or Cleesh).

2006-12-16

Straight Forward

My gameplay was quite straight-forward, but a friendly RNG, the Crimbo Town Cafe (sorry, Crimborg Nutrition Station) and bred-in efficiency have put me in a very good position.

Far better position than the previous time I thought I might get a 4-day run.

For starter's: I'm already in the Hole in the Sky, and have collected 12 lines and 17 stars, and a star chart. Which means that after the requisite Hat and Key, I'll have 4 stars and 2 lines already collected, from the 11 items needed for a star weapon.

I require 2,419 myst substats. And probably some offstats, too. For this I think the Gallery will help. It's not a stat day tomorrow, but it should be manageable with the Gallery. Especially on a decent diet.

Not to forget I've got 8 out of 12 Tower Items already.

Niceties

Today was the day of niceties.

I didn't quite levelboost, but I did reach a high position in level 8.

Got myself a nice NanoMechaMech, which I already enjoy using in the NS fight
Got a cocktailcrafting kit and made two Roll in the Hay (whiskey, soda water, little paper umbrella).
Had little to no meat problems.
Got a vampire-duck-on-a-string.
Got an asbestos and a chrome staff. (allowed me to adventure in the Gallery)
Got a safety vest. Which was especially fun, since I hadn't gotten a knob goblin elite shirt.
Eventually defeated the bonerdagon (a few failed attempts at low level).

Up to level 8 or so, levelling was fun with the elves. I'd spend even more time there, if the Gallery wasn't available. About the only nicety I missed out on was antiques dropping, so I could smash them to wads.

I haven't opened up the Dungeons of Doom yet, nor gotten a DD key. That will be a task for tomorrow then. Already day 3 tomorrow. With any luck, this might become a 4-day run, we'll have to see. 5-day seems easy-peasy, but I have to consider the need to level to 12 for Sauciness.

Duke of Disco

Yay! Reached level 30 in about a 100 adventures.

Afterwards I PvP'ed a bit for rank (not too succesfully), solved the White Castle Quest and helped Doc Galaktik.

And then jumped into the Gash, keeping "Heart of Polyester". For my next trick, I picked a saucy Sauceror, going for that all-important level 12 skill.

I did a teetdrop, eating two candy stakes and two Fettucini Inconnu. After that a spaghetti-with-skullheads and completed all the stuff to complete before level 7.

I screwed up a bit with the drinking (could've used Ode, drink two tavern drinks, two spooky eggnogs, finish off with a tavern drink, but instead drunk the 3 tavern drinks and 2 imp ales, all without ode. Finished off at the end of day with a tavern drink.

For my next trick, I'd really like to have the Magical Mojomuscular Melody. The +10 mysticality will allow me to enter the Gallery earlier. Right now, I've really not got a single way to boost my myst.

For tomorrow, I gotta watch my Moxie quite carefully. Both try to boost it and see if I can survive in the Cyrpt, as well as to don the Stainless Steel Slacks as soon as possible.

On the menu should be Hell Ramen and two more reagent dishes. On the booze menu, I should stick with the Crimbo Cafe. Darn, why didn't I end up at the Crimbo Cafe, today?!

Also, DD tomorrow.

Countdown

I didn't feel so well today, but managed to grind my turns. Level 29 and seems like a shoe-in to make it to 30 tomorrow.

Which leaves two questions:
Which skill to keep? Overdeveloped Sense of Self-preservations seems the most useful, but the level 13 elemental protection skill will at least make sure that next DB run, I won't have to level, might save a few odd turns in the Daily Dungeon (not really), and perhaps help reduce a few HP lost.
Hmmm...if only over-developed sense was more expensive...I'd have picked it, right now I'm going with the cooler, but far less usefull skill. At least I won't have to consider which skill to keep *next* DB run. I'll have already permed the level 12, 13, 14 and 15 skill.

The other question is what class to go next run. To go Sauceror and take Impetuous Sauciness would a little late. On the other hand, I will have some time to squeeze in an AT leveling run. Or at least, get a lot of mileage out of the Elves.
To redo DB for the self-preservation would not be bad idea either.
But to go Pastamancer, in order to get the level 15 skill relatively easy, would perhaps be the best long-term investment.

I haven't figured it out yet, but then again, I've got an entire day. Whatever class I pick, I'm aiming for a teet-drop run again. With the Crimbo Cafes available, that will allow for easy eating/drinking.

It's Voodoo Economics all over. Especially since I don't have Impetuous Sauciness (*headdesk* It seemed so useless for powerlevelling the previous run, that I took Way of the Sauce, while it is so uberuseful for powerlevelling with Elves).

Anyway, yesterday I defeated the Sorceress, no worries, broke the prism and got to level 13, when I realized I should have been saving adventures for today, moxie day. Today I did the clover/dance-card waltz for a while, until I was out of my meagre supply. Then I adventured all buffed up with the Crimborgs, netting me neat results.

Lesson learned: It's best to get stats ASAP, as every statpoint gained is a statpoint boosted, which enables higher returns.

147403 substats down, 566622 substats to go.

My goal is to keep an average of about 50k substats per day up for the next 11 days. That would allow me to break my previous record.

No such luck

My 4-day dream was shattered quite early into the run, when I fished for the dictionary. A total of 4 drunkeness took up the space of a calle de miel I had been saving up for the ocassion. The advent calendar was also non-helpful by giving an ancient unspeakable fruitcake. A candy cane, bugbear horror or spooky eggnog, all would've helped, but the fruitcake was useless. Not that this was a dealbreaker, like the 4 drunkeness.

What was a dealbreaker was not getting an awful poetry journal drop, until late in the game.

What could've been a dealbreaker if my luck hadn't been slightly rotten, was not always paying attention while switching the lead necklace. Or that handful of times I got beaten up.

In the end, I'm in a very, very good position to free the Sorceress tomorrow, and begin heavy levelling after that. Such a shame I didn't take Impetuous Sauciness last run, that would make it a lot easier and cheaper.

Old Skool

Well, that was mostly old-school playing. The only thing really problematic was keeping my MP up. I used a lot of tonic water (16 or so), using the last 4 still lights for supercocktails.

The Yuletide troll and Crimbo Elf are both basically full weight (18 and 19, respectively). The troll just doesn't regenerate MP reliably enough. Nor HP, but that's far less of a problem.

I made major gains, thanks to the gallery. Of all the goals I pondered (Island Access, Level 9, Bonerdagon, tr4pz0r quest, Zapping Wand, DD key) I only didn't get the Island Access completed. I did spend 2 vacations and got a barbed-wire fence on the second one, which is neat.

I used my zap not to zap a ruby W, but rather to zap my Gimlet. Which turned into a Mae West. Which I drunk to complete the day.

With a chrome crossbow and a dead guy's watch, I'll be getting a boost in the adventure department as well. Ascension tomorrow? Probably not. Would be a record too! Four days. And with such weird preparation.

I'm going to toss it on a more acceptable five, perhaps even six. If it turned out to be four, I'd cut my level 30 attempt short to get it in the record books.

Trolling and Hurting

Using my Yuletide troll isn't even a bad choice. Slowly it starts to add stats like a properly levelled volleybal (already at 14 pounds) and mostly the mana-boost is golden. It's a bit too random though. And I get insane of getting big HP boosts when I'm already at full capacity.

I used the elves to level speedily to level 6, then kicked the asses of the Hey Deze monsters to just in time gain my Stomach of Steel and drop my path. I mistook myself in the fullness of a fruitcake (3, instead of 2), so made a bit of a miss with that, I had another reagent pasta ready, but made do with the vampire cake, instead.

It's a fine line between eating crimbo content and keeping up pace, but I think I didn't do badly. The future looks bright as well, as I gathered pixels (27 white ones, already). I wonder if going on for the "monster bait" will be worth it... Heck, I might just as well. It's an all-combat area and my troll could do with some more kills.

I used all my still lights to make tonic water...I seem to be provided with enough booze between the tavern, path rewards and Crimbo content. Should remember to check the restaurant tomorrow (today was goat cheese :-/)

My muscle has reached high enough level to wield the shillelagh! *smashy, smashy* Not yet the vampire-duck-on-a-string, sadly.

Yuletide

In the spirit of Crimbo, I've decided to ascend as a Disco Bandit.

My goal is to (with the help of scaling elf-types) to get this Disco Bandit to level 30. Hence, I chose the path teetotal (even though I just received whiskey!). I'm gonna pathdrop, of course.

Ascending with a nearly full weight Crimbo Elf and using the Yuletide troll (hey, this will be a CRIMBO run!) is interesting. In the old-fashioned sense of the word. Seeing as I couldn't drink and lack my usual tonnes of meat, I had to maneuver quite carefully.

My diet:
1 candy stake (from the advent calendar)
1 painful penne pasta (dry noodles summoned and jabanero pepper from the hermit, which I wanted to use for insanely spicy enchanted bean burrito, but no spices)
1 tangerine (upgraded a grapefruit from the fruit monster)
1 stalk of asparagus (dropped from the pantry, these things are great food!)
1 shoots & leaves (from "Crimbo Rock Eating Cave")
1 kiwi (more upgraded fruit golemy goodness)
1 kumquat (and even more!)
1 gingerbread massacre (from the "Crimboween Spooky Cafe)

Odd foods, but fun to expand my diet. From tomorrow onward, I'll be eating reagent dishes again.

I really like the toy mercenary. Far more effective than the toy veteran. A handful of meat for 30 guaranteed damage. Especially fun with dual-wield.
I'd like to make at least a crazy train (+10% meat) and the vampire-duck-on-a-string (+5% items).

The train can replace me passing up on the monocle. And the duck will make a nice weapon to dual-wield with the shillelagh.

This is going to be a weird run.

Slightly problematic

Getting those stats properly organized was even tougher work than I had anticipated. But with a royal adventure to spare, I defeated the Sorceress.

That means that the prism can be broken, I can explore the elfy elfs with my stomach filled with some hi mein, and then I can ascend as a Disco Bandit. I'll see what stats the elfy elfs leave me with at the end.

I'll make a new post for the Disco Bandit run.

Off stat.

Today, I tried to do "just the quests". It ended up in the Hole in the Sky. What's problematic when switching away from the Cheshire Bat is not so much the loss of stat gain...but the loss of meat gain! And since my chosen itemdropper is the Crimbo Elf and not the Ant/Demon/Sprite, my meat gains plummeted.

Still, I didn't do too badly, except it all took a few too many turns. The meat from the Bonerdagon was quickly spent and only when I could sell the dictionary was I home free.

I have only gotten one Legend Key yet, so if I want to ascend tomorrow I need to get the key AND the zapping wand. I've unlocked the Dungeons of Doom, but not yet adventured there.

My PVP fights went without any problem.

Funniest thing. My final drink (a pink pony with Ode) leveled me up to 11 :-)

wow. that's close to 666 turns in 6 days :-)

p.s. My main stat might be up to 11, but my offstats haven't even reached 60. That's the problem with dropping the bat. If I want to ascend tomorrow (and I do), I'll have to work hard (in the Gallery) to fix the discrepancy...

Day 5 already!

With all the Crimbo playtime, I had forgotten it had turned muscle day already.

And it didn't turn out half-assed, with my mad dash into the gallery. My main concern has been keeping enough meat, but I did manage to get to level 10 without any major problems...then I remembered I still had quests to do. So, quickly deposed of the Bonerdagon, with Flip, the Crimbo Elf as my assistant. And started on the Mine quest. And won 28 PvP flowers.

For tomorrow, I have to get the dictionary (drunkeness) and get this mine done (asbestos ore). And run up the Beanstalk.

I don't think I'm ascendable, especially because my offstats suck.

I do think that I'm asendable day after tomorrow, and could easily keep the (almost entirely useless) level 13 skill without any hassle.

After that, I should go Disco Bandit (HC, Boozetefarian, Marmot)...see if I can make it to level 30 this month with the help of scaling Elves.

CRRRRIMMMMBOOOOOO!

Woot.

This looks so much fun. I'm taking small steps into the Crimbo quest, and I'm loving the new content. The calendar, the locations, everything!

I'm thinking about tacking a few softcores together this month, rather than HC'ing. Also have heard good things about moxie stat gains.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.
